2016 COMMON BOOK AMBASSADOR SIGNUP

The Ambassador experience is an opportunity for UCLA faculty, staff, graduate students, alumni, and community members to participate in discussions around this year’s Common Book, Between the World and Me, by Ta-Nehisi Coates. This is an opportunity for you to meet new students, hear the many perspectives they bring to the discussions, and share your own connections to the issues raised in the book. The purpose of this sharing experience is to contribute to the development of a respectful Bruin community and support UCLA’S Principles of Community. As an Ambassador, we ask that you participate in a discussion and consider options for incorporating the Common Book (or themes) into your work and/or with your students during the academic year.
