UCLA First Year Experience

Bruin Overnight provides an opportunity for admitted students residing outside of California to experience life at UCLA. Admitted students visit the campus, stay overnight in the residential halls hosted by a current Bruin, and participate in Bruin Day. Each year, Bruin Overnight hosts over 200 admitted Bruins from all over the country and allows them to connect with current UCLA students. Programming is made possible through the collaboration of First Year Experience, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Parent and Family Programs, and Office of Residential Life.

Our Bruin Overnight Interns

Bruin Overnight Interns consists of current Bruins who have participated in the program as admitted students. They recruit hosts and volunteers, plan Bruin Overnight programs, and take active roles in welcoming future out-of-state Bruins. Each Bruin Overnight Intern applies, interviews and is selected during Winter Quarter. If you are interested in becoming a Bruin Overnight intern, please contact us!
